Pen-and-ink portrait of Brian Miller

The future needs
experienced thinkers.

AI is changing what we can create. Experience helps us decide what’s worth creating. I help marketing and creative teams use AI with clearer strategy, stronger creative judgment, and a steady focus on what their customers need, bringing curiosity about what’s new and perspective on what works.

Speaking

Talks on AI, creativity, and the future of marketing work.

Explore talks

I speak to conferences, leadership teams, and classrooms about how AI is changing the way brands are built and creative work gets made. Practical, honest, and tailored to the room.

Featured talks

  1. The Thirty-Year Head Start

Why taste, judgment, and craft matter more, not less, when everyone has the same AI tools.

  2. Building an AI-First Marketing Studio

What changes in the team, the workflow, and the client relationship when AI is in every step.

  3. Brand-Trained

Teaching AI to sound like your brand, and the guardrails that keep it from sounding like everyone else.

“Thank you! You were funny, relevant, and made me feel much better about some of the pickles I’ve gotten myself into with clients over the years.”
Kendall Ludwig, Speaker Liaison

Teaching

Two decades in the classroom.

I’ve taught and mentored at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield University, and the University of Bridgeport, helping students connect creative practice with strategy and develop judgment of their own. The classroom keeps me honest about what AI really changes, and what still has to be learned by doing.

In practice

Building this site with AI.

I rebuilt this site with Claude over two days, including migrating 36 case studies from my previous portfolio. AI accelerated the layouts, migration, and technical checks. I directed the positioning, refined the design, and reviewed what went onto the page.

When a source description proved incorrect, I supplied the project facts rather than asking AI to fill the gap. The process moved quickly because I could evaluate the work and give it direction.

AI made production faster. Judgment shaped what was worth publishing.
